Special terms & conditionsContractor should quote the price including of GST.Quantity of waste paper is tentative and therefore quantity, in actual may turn out to be more or less than the estimated quantity. In the event of quantity turning out to be more than the estimated quantity the buyer has to lift the excess quantity available subject to a variation of 20% of the estimated quantity upon making payment for the additional quantity and clear the ground. In the event of quantity turning out to be less than the estimated quantity, the buyer shall not be entitled to claim any damages, loss of interest or compensation on this count.No sorting will be allowed in Press Premises to the tenderer/contractor.Before lifting the material the successful contractor has to deposit performance security amount @ 5% of total quoted amount (for 210 MT) in the form of Demand Draft/Banker’s Cheque/FDR/ Bank Guarantee of any Nationalized Bank/ Scheduled Commercial Bank in favour of “Pay & Accounts Officer (Ptg.), Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, New Delhi” payable at New Delhi. It will be refunded after completion of contract period.No claim shall lie against the Government either in respect of interest or any depreciation in values of any security amount. In case of bank deposit receipts the Government shall not be responsible for any loss or damage caused to the receipt or on failure of such bank to honour the receiptsThe duration of the contract will be for financial year 2026-27 (till 31/03/2027). However, contract is liable to be cancelled at any time for unsatisfactory performance or delay in lifting of the waste paper. Under such circumstances the security deposit being submitted by the firm is liable to be forfeited and the firm will be declared black listed by this Press.The contract can be extended with mutual consent if required under the rules.The quoted rates should be valid for one year. It would cover the entire quantity of old waste papers and sweepage i.e. printed, torn, solid clothed, white, coloured, inked, oiled, unbleached, Paste Boards, Straw Boards, other miscellaneous sheets, cuttings that will be available for disposal in the Press during the period of contract.The Contractor shall make his own arrangement for bag, boxes, thread, vehicles and labour that may be required for lifting the waste Paper.In case of failure to lifting of material after issue of the delivery order, a penalty of 2% per week of the value of the unlifted waste paper during the particular fortnight will become payable to Government by the Contractor as “Godown”charges.There is no responsibility of the Press for any type of damage or getting wet by rains etc during/after packing of unlifted waste paper in the Press Premises after signing of the contract.
