The trend shows growth in 2025-26 with 1,49,709 TN e-Tenders. The value of these tenders is 1,41,797 crores. The bidders have made 2,31,789 bids for these tenders. The Goods category recorded 15,877 tenders worth ₹36,561 crores, attracting 36,669 bids. There were 6,197 tenders issued in services, with a total value of ₹14,360 crores and has got 10,701 bids. The Works category led significantly with 1,27,840 tenders valued at ₹90,988 crores, receiving 1,81,869 bids. There are 60,221 tenders awarded to the vendors in this financial year till now.
The number stood at 95,047 tenders in 2024-25 with a value of 1,12,606 crores. The number of bids received were 1,76,157. A total of 1,74,784 tenders were issued on e-Procurement Tamil Nadu during 2023-24 with an estimated value of 1,69,460 crores. There were 2,93,839 bids received in this Financial Year.
eTender TamilNadu - Types of Tenders
There are multiple types of tenders published by the government departments in eTender TN Portal as below:
- Open Tenders - The open tenders are publicly and allow all eligible contractors, suppliers and service providers to participate in Tamil Nadu e-Procurement.
- Limited Tenders - These tenders are issued to a selected group of pre-qualified and technically experienced vendors.
- Single Tenders - Single tenders are adopted for highly specialized or urgent requirements. The contracts are awarded directly to a specific vendor based on technical suitability, past performance and emergency needs.
- Two-Cover Tenders - These eTender TamilNadu involve separate technical and financial evaluations.
- Item Rate Tenders - The item rate tenders require bidders to quote individual item-wise rates as per the BOQ.

- eTender TamilNadu - The Online Bidder Enrollment section to access the registration details.
- TNtenders login - The vendor has to create a unique login id for Tamil Nadu eProc portal that cannot be changed once after creation.

- Company Name, Registration Number, and Company Category
- Registered Address, Establishment Year, Nature of Business, and Bidder Type
- Partners or Directors Information
- PAN Card Number for Indian bidders and Country Name for Foreign bidders
- Contact Details - Fill the contact details like contact Person Name, Designation, Mobile Number and Email Id to complete the TN e-Register process.
- MSME Information - The registered vendors need to fill in the Udyog Aadhaar Number.
- Form Submission - Submit the application and save the acknowledgement for reference.
- DSC Registration - It is mandatory for the bidders to complete their registration at least 24 hours prior to participating in any Tamil Nadu e-Procurement bidding. A Class 3 DSC is used for the eTendering process. The vendor can not modify the DSC once after registration.
